Most of us regularly buy supplements, and often we are faced with a huge shelf with bottles that make no sense. The labels are cryptic or full of jargon, and it's often quite difficult to choose the right product. There are few basic issues to understand before you go ahead and dive into the world of supplements.

Potency is not guaranteed.
Yes, that’s right. There is no guarantee that a bottle of vitamin contains the amount advertised on the bottle. Generally, the supplement/alternative medicine manufacturers are not as tightly regulated as prescription drugs makers.
2.The formulation may not be appropriate.
This means the tablet hasn’t been made in a way which makes it easy to absorb and get maximum benefit from it.
3. There is no research supporting the beneficial effect of a particular product.
That doesn’t stop certain manufacturers making it and selling it. Sometimes certain vitamins or natural chemicals are only stable in their natural source; as soon as you start to make them into tablets and capsules they fall apart and lose their usefulness.
And the biggest rule of thumb of all is that diet is king, when it comes to obtaining. But this is often difficult for some in a busy world.
So how on earth do you choose?
Well continue reading this blog and i’ll go through the most common supplements and explain the best way to benefit from them.
